India Pune filmfest to host Iran ‘A Long Day’

Iranian film ‘A Long Day’ is to be screened at the 15th edition of Pune International Film Festival (PIFF) in India.

Directed by Babak Bahram Beigi, ‘A Long Day’ will be showcased at the World Cinema section of the event.

Written by Babak Bahram Beigi and Payam Naser, the movie has a social theme.

The movie tries to manifest that time changes people, but the image we have of them remains permanent and nothing is more painful than this conflict between the two events.

Shabnam Moqaddami, Reza Behboudi, Morteza Youneszadeh, Baran Ebrahimi and Alireza Ara star in this movie.

The Pune International Film Festival was established in 2002. The aim was to attract the best in celluloid to the city.

Today PIFF is an important date on the calendar for filmmakers not only across India, but the globe.
